Happy Dance to the Max!

So my keyboard was broken for a while and I had trouble typing "a"s.
Sucks when you need to write an essay. Plus "a" is like the most commonly letter used in the English language D:.

Anyway, enough with the excuses! I am posting NOW!

And I've just had the most awesome week ever.

I realized that I've put myself through hell ever since about the middle of February. I've pretty much had nonstop weeks of weekend competitions and events and commitments. But now school is ending in four weeks and AP tests are done!

Hence I started partying this week, beginning Tuesday afternoon!
It was amazing. You wouldn't think that going to Fry's to pick up a keyboard could turn into an afternoon of park-bopping and creek exploring. Plus going into the Palo Alto sewers to whistle and dance and listen to the awesome ensuing echoes.
An experience on Wednesday made me think about mortality for a bit, but that was soon lost in the blur of watching an Americanized Chinese movie with grafted animal sound effects and plenty of Jackie Chan and Jet Li kickassery. That was followed by watching the American real-life equivalent of a mecha anime and stomping it out playing DDR in a nearly empty theater.
As the weather heated up, so did we...so we jumped into a pool on Thursday afternoon. On Friday at Great America, I went on my first ever roller coaster!

Yes, my first ever. Not like I've never been to a theme park before, but I was too short to ride Indiana Jones in Disneyland when I was young. ~tear~ But wow. I kind of don't regret it. For a first ride, Top Gun (or "Flight Deck" as they now call it) was insane. I wanted to get off as soon as we went down the first hill. Closing my eyes didn't help much either. It wasn't actually the RIDE that scared me. The speed was fine. What got me was how I felt like I was going to FALL OFF THE STUPID THING. Yes, it hasn't happened before but strange things always seem to happen to me :(. And I had the same sensation on Orbit, which is pretty much a Ferris wheel gone insane. I was sliding all over the bench and even though the little car was closed, going upside down like that is not a good feeling. The water rides were amazing though! The lines were long and the rides were short with maybe 5 seconds of actual fun, but getting wet mitigated the heat well.

Yet a downside to the week is how much having fun involves eating junk. Now that swim season is over and it's too incredibly hot to exercise of my own accord, I've really got to watch it.

Heading off to Davis in 5 weeks :).
